Grieving

A dear friend of mine took her life on Monday night. She had been struggling for a long time.

In a way I can't even be sad that her pain is ended.

But she was only 25 and such a bright spirit in some ways.

I'm not at a place to say anything thought-full about it. I'm pretty much all emotion.

Oh boy Pam, I'm so sorry; I only saw your post today.

I am so sorry to hear about your friend. Words can't do justice to what you must be experiencing right now. I hope that when you connect to the great web of souls during Meeting, you will find hers and find a measure of peace.

In the Light,

Claire

I am sorry to hear that.

Fortunately, I have never known anyone who did that, but I have met many women who have told me the had wanted to die, or wished they had never been born.

I think it is a terrible tragedy because I firmly believe that every life is a wonderful experience and needs to be cherished. I also recognize that many have had hard lives (far too many in my opinion) and dark shadows hang over them.

Take care.
